WILLARD F. HUNSBERGER, 81, OF POTTSTOWN Willard F. Hunsberger, 81, of Pottstown, widower of Ann Marie (Koury) Hunsberger, died Monday at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Russell Hunsberger and the late Cora (Evans) Hunsberger. Mr. Hunsberger worked as a mail carrier at the Pottstown Post Office for 31 years, retiring in 1988, and then worked part time in the mailroom at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center from 1989 to 2012. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Pottstown. Mr. Hunsberger enjoyed watching his grandson play basketball, and was loved by family, friends, co-workers and grand dog. He is survived by a son, Ty A. Hunsberger and his wife, Denice, Pottstown; a daughter, Lori A., wife of Paul Gertsch, Roswell, GA; a brother, Walter Hunsberger, Boyertown; two sisters, Joyce Eschbach, Pottstown, and Doris Zimmerman, Smyrna, GA, and a grandson, Tyler A. Hunsberger. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Hunsberger, and a sister, Anna S. Foley. Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Barry Moyer. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
