Barbara Spann Obituary

LIBERTY — Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Barbara Spann will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Barbara Crowe Spann, 80, of 534 Ruhamah Road, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at the Cottingham Hospice House.

Born in Anderson, she was the widow of Charles E. Spann, Jr. and a daughter of the late William Hubert and Mary Jane Porter Crowe.

She retired from E.C.P. after 30 years of service, and was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Kim Churchwell Repokis of Liberty; a son in law, Travis Dean Broughton of Kerversville, N.C.; a sister, Brenda Edwards of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Jacob Repokis (Chelsey), Shannon Repokis, Shelby Broughton, and Abbie Broughton; a great grandchild, Eli Repokis; three stepdaughters, Jennifer Garlow, Linda Spann, and Vonnie Spann; a stepson, Charlie Spann.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Traci Churchwell Broughton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Seena Magowitz Foundation, www.seenamagowitzfoundation.org.

The family will be at their respective homes.
