Margaret N. Chadwick

Virginia Beach - Margaret "Gaga" Chadwick, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by the family she loved. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Frederick R. Chadwick.

Left to celebrate her life are her children; DiAnn and Chum Springer and Donna and Art Zimmerly: grandchildren; Jodi Springer Diamond and Tim Farrington, Jill (Springer) and Ray Key, Jenny (Springer) and Doug Stanley, Art Zimmerly, Jr., Megan Zimmerly and Jean Zimmerly Klock: great-grandchildren; Chadwick and Dana Diamond, Elena Key, Jenna and Whilldin Stanley.

Gaga found her joy spending time with family in quiet settings or in boisterous ones with the grands and great-grands. Her happiest times were spent picking vegetables from Chum's garden, following her Atlanta Braves and playing Bingo with her best friend Sis.

Many thanks to her special family- the Springer girls- Marie, Joyce and Gay- and her good friend Joyce ReDavid. Thank you Dr. Shah and Mary Jane, Romona, Kelsa and Heartland Hospice for taking such good care of "Gaga."

She felt she had nothing of value to leave her family, but she left us with priceless life lessons about love and patience.

A memorial service will be held at Kellum Rosewood, Witchduck Rd., Sunday July 27th at 2pm. Burial will be held at a later date.
