Not sure what to say?

I worked with Ron while stationed in Norfolk in the Navy in the early 70's. God Bless him. What a great person and talented artist! I remember making curtains for his kitchen in his first house all for some good food and a night away from the barracks!

All of the teachers at Arendtsville Elementary School depended on Ron to decorate their classrooms especially for PTA nites. Mrs Wertz in the first grade didn't even give me the time of day when I showed that I could trace a turkey using my hand; she asked Ron if he could trace AND color one hundred little cut-out turkeys for the classroom; Ron immediately started on the assignment. Later when I visited Ron in Norfolk he was the perfect host.

Ron, my fellow Leo! What a testimony to your kindness and giving in life that we (in this guest book) remember special outings (like ours together in Richmond) and the every day joys of working together at JFSC. Thank you and George for sharing your home so often with us too. When I got into mischief at work, Ron was always close by. Here's to the good memories. God keep you close. Loretta and Bobby

I remember when Ron and I came to the Library. We were both so scared but he made it fun. I have known Ron for over 20 years and have had the honor to be called his friend. He was so talented and he made me laugh. I will miss him greatly. I remember him and I going to Tangier's Island and having so much fun. He papmered me and Denise at his B8B, he was one of a kind. See you later Ron!

Ron's artful way of doing things and fun approach to life will be missed. He leaves a lot of the beauty he created behind for others to enjoy, which is a blessing. May he enjoy decoratings rooms in the Mansion of the Lord for us to enjoy in the future when we join him there!
