Fella, Mary (Kypros) - Norfolk
Mary Fella (Kypros) Norfolk - Heaven must have rejoiced on December 20, 2014 when Mary Fella (Kypros) entered its gates after being called by the Father. On March 25, 1924, Mary began her earthly journey. A Cypriot by birth, her family immigrated to the U.S.A. when she was five. Until she was 18, she lived in NYC where she began her life-long "career" as a Yankees fan. Moving to Norfolk, she married Charles Kypros, also of Cyprus. Mary is the last of four siblings to cross into the realm of Heaven. Her surviving children, Harry, Christopher, George, and Bonita will always cherish her memory as will the rest of her beloved family. She worked in civil service as a computer specialist and was a member of the "Annunciation" Greek Orthodox Church where she gave much service. "Selfless" is a word that characterizes her love, her generosity, her friendship, and her spirit. She gave her all for the care and welfare of friends and family. Never a complainer, she moved through any trials and tribulations quietly without losing faith or grace. She will also be remembered for the power of her intellect, her extreme organizational skills, and the natural beauty of her singing voice. Her mark will always be present in the hearts and lives of many for whom she made a positive difference. She lives on, connected forever by spirit to spirit, by soul to soul. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Azalea Little League.
