I don't know how to express my feeling as I can only remembering the good thoughts, As I remember Doug bring his youngesters to to see the Norfolk Blues play in Lafayette Park after he retired from Rugby.
Being the oldest Rugby Player from Norfolk he all ways had a kind word. He will be missed. I was talking to one of our older players just a few weeks ago and was telling them about Doug and how he was a great player and a good man.He will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wendy,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Doug really had the sweetest nature and always did the right thing. Having married a man from high school, I was always so happy to hear how well you two were doing. My heart goes out to you and your family, thinking of you. Cindy (Pruce) Derse
