Mary Lou Levinson
Norfolk - Mary Lou Levinson, 89, passed away at Georgian Manor in Chesapeake, Va. on September 2, 2013. She was born January 31, 1924, to the late Edna and Louis Andreatta of Marshfield, Mo. She was also predeceased by her brother, John Andreatta, sisters Kathleen Schmidt and Angeline Uzzell.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 69 years, S. Bernard Levinson, daughters, Sharon Edwards (Harold) and Judy Mitchum, grandchildren, Michelle Eason (Jerry) and Chad Mitchum, great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mitchum, Connor and Cassidy Eason, her sisters, Helen Blazer and Virginia Cooper, her brother in law, Earl Levinson and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou loved "her flowers", sewing and cooking. She will be remembered as "Ma" and for her famous home-made chocolate chip cookies and pies. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Georgian Manor for their loving care and dedication to Mary Lou for these past 16 months. Cremation Society of Virginia is in charge with burial to be held at a later date in Marshfield, Mo.
