Virginia Beach - Musette Weber, 74, of Virginia Beach, went to be with the lord on Feb. 3, 2014. She was born on Nov. 5, 1939 in Raleigh, NC. She grew up in Arlington, Virginia and graduated from the University of Florida
with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Musette Raper, and her daughter Suzanne Weber.
She is survived by her Husband, William (Bill), a son, William (Bill) Weber of Virginia Beach, sister-in-law, Ann Weber Whitlatch and husband Robert of Mystic, CT and nieces, Hilary Whitlatch of Providence, RI and Morgan Whitlatch and husband Jon Widrick of Silver Spring, MD. Other survivors include children by choice, Michael Johnstone and daughter, Michelle, and Mark Johnstone, wife Cheryl, and children, Ashley, Serena, and Nathan, Kristi Zeller and partner Mark Muraoka and their son Avery, also an aunt and many cousins.
She was a longtime member of King's Grant Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Visiting Deacon, and Co-Chairman of the Bereavement Committee.
She enjoyed Bible Study and had been a member of Community Bible Study, Bible Study Fellowship and the KGPC Lunch Bunch. She walked to Emmaus on Tidewater Emmaus 27 and teamed on TW29, TW33, and TW47. The Family expresses gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical technicians, and staff that cared for her in the ICU at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital these past three plus weeks.
A memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, at King's Grant Presbyterian Church, 745 Little Neck Rd., Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia, 800 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23504
