Pearl Mabel Bell Aldridge

Virginia Beach - Pearl Mabel Bell Aldridge, 93, born & raised in the Berkley section of Norfolk, VA went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2014. She was born to the late Endo & Pattie Bell and was predeceased by her husband of 47 years and the love of her life, Robert Lee Aldridge, Jr.

Mabel was a lifetime member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She loved cooking, singing, planting flowers in her garden beds, but most of all spending time with her family.

Mabel is survived by her sons Robert L. Aldridge III & wife Carol, William W. Aldridge & wife Debra and Richard E. Aldridge & wife Bettie; 5 grandchildren, Leigh Monty & husband James, Wade Aldridge & wife Amanda, Alan Aldridge & wife Annie, Amanda Kurak & husband Karl, and Matthew Aldridge; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of extended relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. The funeral will be held on Thursday the 20th at Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Zavadil & Rev. Robert Hobson officiating.
