Richard A. Davis
Virginia Beach - Richard A. "Tom" Davis, loving husband, amazing father poppa, son, and brother went to be with the lord on August 23, 2013. "Tommy" was born Richard Arnold Davis on November 24, 1943 in Bloomsburg, PA. After graduating from Bloomsburg High School, he joined the US Coast Guard and went on to become a Master Electrician. When he came to Virginia Beach, he started his own electrical contracting company, T & T Electric. He took great pride in the projects he brought to life like the Historical Housing on Ft Monroe and at Langley Air Force Base. He was an avid outdoorsman; but hunting was his passion. He truly enjoyed the camaraderie with his friends and the solitude of the woods.
He is predeceased by his parents Ray and Eleanor, as well as, his elder brother Ray. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Michele Finley Davis, daughter Tracey Bailey and granddaughter Hunter of Virginia Beach, brother Ed Davis of Telford, PA, aunts Goldie Dubyak and Evelyn Davis of Bloomsburg, PA, aunt Rita Dubyak-Hathaway of Ocala, FL, and nieces Bridget (Ed), Vicki, and Ann (Chuck), nephews Wayne and John (Lauren), many grand nieces and nephews, family friend Joe Balling, as well as, numerous friends and hunting buddies. A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 28, at 11 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Norfolk SPCA.
