Virginia Beach - Richard "Dick" Skolnick, 76, of Virginia Beach passed away peacefully on January 22, 2014 after a courageous battle with a long illness. Dick was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Florence and David Skolnick. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and retired after a long career with OshKosh B'Gosh. He was the ultimate salesman and never met a stranger.

He was married for 56 years to the love of his life, Phyllis Skolnick. He is also survived by his daughter, Donna Semonich (Joe), and sons Allen (Debbi), Jeffrey (Beth), and Curtis (Marie). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan, Kellye (fiancée Steve), Amy, Jake, Hunter, Taylor, Jason, and Sara.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 24 at 12 noon at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. 2002 Laskin Rd., Virginia Beach, VA by Rabbi Marc Kraus. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
