Warren T. "Pee Wee" Paxton(1923 - 2013)

Warren Paxton
Virginia Beach - Warren T. Paxton, "Pee Wee", 89, passed away on April 24, 2013. He was born in Norfolk, and later married Ella in 1949 at the Lafayette Presbyterian Church, where he belonged and taught Sunday school to teenagers in 1955. He was also a past president of Homebuilders Class 1958 and advisor to the Boy Scouts in the 1960's.
Pee Wee was in the Army Air Force during WWII; afterwards he worked as an apprentice in the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where he retired as Tech Support of the Supply Department after 32 years of service. He was also a member of several organizations including Moose Lodge 39, Moose Legionnaires, Elks Lodge 38, Mason 266 and the Shriners.
Pee Wee is survived by his wife Ella; daughter, Denise Paxton both of VA Beach; and sons, Steve of Colorado and Mark of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29, at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
