William D. Wright

Chesapeake - William "Doug" Wright, 48 passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014, with his family by his side.

Born In Norfolk, Va., he was a 1984 graduate of Great Bridge High School and a 1988 graduate of Randolph Macon College. He was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Great Bridge Presbyterian Church. He was a Senior Capture Support Manager for Mymic LLC.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, William F. Wright Jr. He is survived by his mother Barbara Wright, his wife of 17 years Denise, son Preston, daughter Cassidy and his beloved dog Zeus all of Chesapeake. Left to cherish Doug's memory are his brother Curtis F. Wright and sister in law Kerry and their son Jack of California; his mother and father in law John and Arlene Urian of Fla.; and brother in law Eric Urian, his wife Amy and their daughter Maggie of Idaho.

The family will receive family and friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home on Friday May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 524 Cedar Rd. in Chesapeake, Va. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church at 333 Cedar Rd. in Chesapeake, Va. followed by the burial at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens at 524 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake, VA. A reception will be held at Great Bridge Presbyterian Church following the burial. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com
