Clementina Warren Obituary

Clementina A. Warren VIRGINIA BEACH - Clementina A. "Tina" Warren, 80, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at her home after a long illness. A native of Wallingford, Conn., she had lived in Virginia Beach since 1977. As a Navy wife, she also lived in other states. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Carmella Riccitelli; and her brother, John Riccitelli. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 55 years, F.L. "Bud" Warren; her son, Anthony Warren; her daughter, Deborah Nuhn and husband Robert, all of Virginia Beach; her stepson Robert Warren and wife Martha of Sturbridge, Mass.; her grandchildren, Bryan Nuhn and wife Jennifer, and Shawn Nuhn of Virginia Beach; and her stepgrandchildren, Amy Warren and Robert Warren Jr. of Sturbridge; and her precious great-grandson, Gage Nuhn. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony Riccitelli Jr. and his wife Jane of Summerville, S.C.; sister-in-law, Kathleen Wade and husband Brian of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; and brother-in-law, John Warren of Coatesville, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides being a Navy wife, Tina worked as a Pay and Cost clerk, bank teller, teachers aide, and manager of a ladies retail clothing store. She always stated that the most important and enjoyable job she had was babysitting and caring for her grandchildren. Tina also strongly supported her husband Bud in all his community service projects. She was a member of the Kempsville Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary. Tina was the perfect example of a good Christian in the way she lived her life. She spent her life giving to others and caring for others with nothing expected in return. No one ever had a better wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend than Tina's family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all she leaves behind, but never forgotten. Heaven's gain is our loss. The family wishes to thank Sentara Hospice Care Services, and especially the nurses who cared for Tina and Chaplain Richard Moon for their compassionate care and counseling. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kempsville Lions Club Trust Fund, c/o of John Clyburn, 5637 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462-6100. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with a celebration of Tina's life at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
