We went to high school together and I lived across from your court. We always had the best time with sleepovers and I remember you Dad making his "smelly" cheese sandwiches. I know the timing isn't right but our 30 yr reunion is this weekend and it would be great to see you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My Husband and I met Mr. Zimba at Bon Secours Rehab Center a couple of years ago, while my sister was recouping from hip surgery. I started talking with him after noticing his USMC shirt. Our son is an active duty Marine stationed overseas. I found out what Marines always say, "Once a Marine, Always a Marine". What a delightful man Mr. Zimba was. I purchased a new Marine Corps hat for him at the Navy Exchange, and he was so excited and appreciative. You all will be in my prayers. Semper Fi, Capt Zimba. Chris Jarrins

I learned so much from John when I worked for McDonalds Corporation that helped to make me successful in other fields. I mentioned him to a nearby McDonald's operator just last week. My condolences to his family.

As a volunteer at the VA - I truly enjoyed getting to know John - I loved hearing his stories and he was my Bingo buddy - he will be sorely missed.

Uncle John will surely be missed. He told his many stories that made you feel like you were there. I always enjoyed visiting with him. He is a man that truely lived a full like. God bless you Uncle John.
