As a fellow Pitt County native I believe I may have known some of your family members and therefore I wish to extend my sympathy to each of you. As a charter member of West Side Christian Church Mr. Hemby was obviously a christian and a follower of Christ. All of those who loved him would do well to accept Christ as their Savior so that someday they will be able to be reunited with Mr. Hemby and other love ones who have gone on to be with the Lord. Best wishes to the family, I remain your Christian friend Words Hardee.

Joan, Morris called me tonight to let me know about your dads' passing. So sad for you all, but praise God he is not encumbered anymore. I love you all and am so sorry I could not share this time with you.
