Edward Lewis Obituary

Edward H. Lewis PORTSMOUTH - Edward Howard Lewis, 72, of the 400 block of Felton Road, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 in his residence. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and was preceded in death by a brother, William Lewis. After retiring with 21 years in the U.S. Navy, Ed went to work at CINCLANFLT in Norfolk where he retired from in February of 2000. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Audrey F. Lewis; a daughter, Tricia L. Goodrich and fiancé Ty Brown; a son, Larry E. Lewis and wife Linda; a brother, Terry Lewis and wife Rona; and two grandchildren, Josh Lewis and Grayson Goodrich. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Sunday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship and remembrance; and they would like to thank Gentiva Health Services and Heartland Hospice for their care and support.
