When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help.

"John will be greatly missed by my family and I. Not only did he give me my very first haircut when I was a toddler, he also gave my son his very first haircut. John opened the shop about two months before I was born in 1975 which also makes a special connection between us. He always thought I would wind up as a train engineer, but I became a firefighter instead. My most sincere condolences go out to not only Peggy and the rest of the family but also to Sonny and Joe. We have lost a good friend."

This is a man I will miss as much as my Father. He told me many times he has enjoyed every day of his life in Virginia coming from the damp Smokey Mountains. And it showed.
