I am saddened Paul by your loss. Laverne and I grew up together in Prentis Park section of Portsmouth and went to school together. We are now planning our 50th high school reunion and had most probably already mailed her a notice. She was a wonderful lady and service oriented to the needy. May God bless you and your family.

Vern was another mother to me and was ALWAYS there when I needed her. I cherish my memories of her and will especially miss her silliness. She always had a way of making me chuckle.

my; deepest sympathy and prayers for the family of laverne, I had the honor of knowing her for awhile and will miss her very much. i got to know her,cindi her daughter was ourkindgom kids director and my grandchildren along with elise and chris were in the plays. laverne was a very special lady and loved her family very much. she will forever be in our hearts. we love all of you so much. love in christ jim and shirley crowder and family
