Geraldine Laurent Obituary

Geraldine Laurent SUFFOLK - Geraldine Laurent, 77, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. A native of Montreal, Canada, she was the wife of the late Gordon Thomas Laurent. Mrs. Laurent is survived by a daughter, Judi Marzsin and husband Gabriel of Canada; sons, Gordon Laurent and wife B.J. of Canada, Robert Laurent and wife Theresa of Wilmington, N.C., and Danny Laurent and wife Kathy of Suffolk; a sister, Hilda Pregent of Canada; a brother, George McRae of Canada; four grandchildren, Robbie and Jill Laurent and Adam and Kelly Marzsin; two nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, by Father William Pitt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Danny,Kathy, and family, What a very sad thing that has happened.We loved her and enjoyed all of our dinners and laughs with her and Gordon ...We will miss her.We know it is such a terrible thing, but, Please know that Gerrie and Gordon are in the arms of Jesus and he is embracing both of them.We love you and are here for you always. May God wrap his arms around you and your family and hold you close to him...With much love and prayers for you all...
