Albert Eugene Bartee
Virginia Beach - Albert "Al" Bartee 82, passed away on March 6, 2012. He was born on December 23, 1929 to the late Luther and Bertie Bartee of Princess Anne County. Albert a loving son, husband, father and friend to all was a life long resident of Virginia Beach. Preceded by him were his adoring sisters Helen Waller, Mary Smith and his loving wife and his best friend Betsi Bartee. Albert is survived by his daughter Susan Burnell (husband Bob), his son Bill Bartee (wife Barbara), his daughter Liz Harrison (husband Phil), and his daughter Nancy Bartee, his grandchildren Amy Burnell and Sam Bartee, and his precious great granddaughter Ivey Burnell. Albert was proud of the growth and success of his many nephews and nieces. Adopted through marriage he finally got the brothers (in- law) he always wanted, John, Albert and Nelson Smith. Albert always loved to recall the special times he spent with his friends and family. A special thanks to Mike and Rebecca Waller for the many afternoon chats with our father. A service will be held Saturday March 10, 11 a.m. at H. D. Oliver, Laskin Road Chapel. "Thank you for your patience. Construction Over." Online condolences may be made to the family at hdoliver.com.
