Alice Fowler Obituary

Alice H. Fowler COURTLAND - Alice Hayes Fowler, 69, died Dec. 1, 2010 at Courtland Healthcare Center. She was born in Windsor, a daughter of the late Frances Roberts and Thomas R. Hayes, and was predeceased by a daughter, Toni E. Fowler. She was a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, David J. Fowler Sr.; one daughter, Joan F. Bradshaw; four sons, David J. Fowler Jr. (Linda), John Wayne Fowler (Kelly), Daniel Lee "Dukie" Fowler (Janet), and Willie C. "Dillie" Fowler (Joyce); 12 grandchildren, Danny, Joseph, Rebecca, April, Holly, Christina, Johnny, Wes, Tina, Carol, Willie and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren, John, Blake, Elizabeth, Autumn, Cameron, Avery and Holly; and one sister, Sandra L. Hayes. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Barnes Tavern Cemetery, Sebrell, with the Rev. Rita A. Kanten officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin.
