Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts; I have been feeling kind of lonely today as I think of my Dad, but I am confident of this very thing - that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Mr. Joyner was always so comforting to be around. And during those times when he drove Vanessa and me to work at the Shipyard, I felt as if I was with my own dad. I will always remember your father’s kind and gentle spirit. He was certainly one of a kind. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sadness, may looking back at the good memories help comfort you tommorow. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God’s benediction of love be an umbrella of comfort over your family today and always.
