AnnaMae True Obituary

AnnaMae M. True PORTSMOUTH - AnnaMae M. True, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2010. She was a native of Massachusetts, a member of Churchland Baptist Church for 60 years, a member of the Scottish Rite Ladies, Portsmouth Music Club, Churchland Woman's Club and a nurse. AnnaMae was predeceased by her husband, Dr. DeWitt Sidney True. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Forcier and her husband Jim, Candace Harding, Kristen Talbert and husband Mike; son, DeWitt Ramsey True and wife Penny; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Pamela Deal; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Churchland Baptist Church by the Rev. Lawrence Coleman and Dr. Dan Koger. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancers Society, the Endowment Fund or the Ladies Aid Scholarship Fund of Churchland Baptist Church, 3031 Churchland Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321.
