Barry Freeman

Barry Keith Freeman WINDSOR - Barry Keith Freeman, 50, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 10,2010 in his home. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Freeman and parents, Robert and Betty Freeman. He was raised in the Suffolk area and lived many of his adult years in Windsor. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and retired from Gwaltney of Smithfield after 30 years of employment. He is survived by his longtime companion, Chris McAden; his brothers, Randy Freeman, Bobby Freeman and Steve Freeman; his sisters, Ann Van Dusen, Barabara Wiseman, Caroline McClain, Donna Santos, Jeanne Jernee, Terry McNeal, Robin Williams, Sherry Freeman; and 17 nieces and nephews, plus other extended family. A service celebrating Barry's life will be held Friday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. in Colonial Funeral Home, with the Rev. O.H. Burton officiating. Burial will be private. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield.
