Bessie Weeks Deal CHESAPEAKE - Bessie Weeks Deal, 92, of Ballahack Road, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 9, 2010. Born in Old Norfolk County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Minnie Casteen and was the widow of John H. Weeks Sr. Bessie was a longtime member of Lake Drummond Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Audrey W. Nimmo and husband Tom; three sons, John H. Weeks Jr. and wife Barbara, Shelton E. Weeks and wife Patsy and Clifton J. Weeks and wife Dorothy; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, at Lake Drummond Baptist Church. The Rev. William A. "Buddy" Hoggard II will officiate. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The viewing will begin Monday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
