Bret Falde

Bret L. Falde VIRGINIA BEACH - Bret Lyle Falde passed June 2, 2010 in Orlando, Fla. The eagle took flight onto a greater place. Bret was born Jan. 5, 1967 in Mountain View, Calif. He was a graduate of Green Run High School 1985 and the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard Apprentice School. He was employed with Proctor & Gamble. Bret was predeceased by his father, Larry B. Falde Sr. He is survived by his mother, Penny Falde of Virginia Beach; brother, Larry Falde of Orlando; sisters and their spouses, Sherry and Les White, LaFawn and Mike Elliott, all of Virginia Beach; nieces and nephews, Michael Brite, Renee Galloway, Ashley Brite, Bree Elliott, Tony Elliott of Virginia Beach, Shailah Falde of Orlando, and partner, Steve Paradis of Orlando. Bret overcame many obstacles and challenges in his life. His two-year battle with cancer was fought with relentless courage and remarkable strength. We miss his playful sense of humor, gruffness, and unwavering spirit.
