Carl McCann Obituary

Carl J. McCann VIRGINIA BEACH - Carl Jay McCann, 84, of the 700 block of Southleaf Drive, passed away Oct. 23, 2010 in his home. A native of Logan, W.Va., he was the son of the late Frederick and Thelma McCann. He retired from the United States Navy as a captain and also retired from St. Mathew's Federal Credit Union. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen K. McCann. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. The entombment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, or a veteran's association.
