Casimiro Cabacungan Obituary

Casimiro Cabacungan PORTSMOUTH - Casimiro "Tony" Cabacungan, 69, passed away Sept. 2, 2010. Tony retired from the Navy as an E-7 after 26 years. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, American Legion and was an avid darter with the Tidewater Dart Association. Surviving Tony are his wife, Janice Cabacungan; daughter, Daun Sanderlin; sons, Paul, Mark and Brian Cabacungan, and Michael Papile; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two brothers, Ted and Jimmy Cabacungan. Tony was predeceased by his son, Robert Chewning Jr. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, at 6:30 p.m. with a visitation to follow the service. DEAR JANICE - MY MEMORIES OF TONY ARE MANY BUT NUMBER ONE IS HOW MUCH HE LOVED YOU. I KNOW HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH ROBERT STILL LOVING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
