Norfolk - Cesar Ybanez Alinsonorin Jr. MD, age 42, of Norfolk passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2013. Cesar was born in the Philippines. He was the son of the late Dr. Cesar and Mrs. Gliceria Alinsonorin. Cesar graduated from UP College of Medicine where he met his wife, Rosalie. He pursued his Internal Medicine residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at NYU and Interventional Pulmonary Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. More recently he was a physician member of Sentara Medical Group, Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Division. He was also the Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Department of Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.
Surviving Cesar is his loving wife of 13 years, Rosalie and his children Nina, Bianca, and Enzo. Also surviving Cesar is his mother, Gliceria and his sisters; Eve, Aimee and Mia. He has numerous family members both here and in the Philippines. He was a humble man, a loving and devoted husband, a dedicated and supportive father, a thoughtful son, and caring brother. His love and kindness were evident every day in the lives of all his family and friends. We will always remember his generous and selfless heart and welcoming smile. Despite his dedication and loyalty to his work, his priority was his family. We Will Miss You.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sun. Mar. 3, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Mon. Mar. 4, at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 520 Graydon Ave. Norfolk with a viewing there at 12:15 p.m. Fr. Daniel Klem will be officiating.
