In my younger years, your parents influence in my upbringing was the warmest and most loving times of my childhood. I wish with my heartfelt love that your pain and suffering is limited and you remember the good times like I have known to treasure.

Steve,

Your father was a very special man. He did a wonderful job rearing his
children after his wife passed. I know how close you were to your dad.
I will always remember catching and cooking crabs with Charles. The
scrambled eggs with crab were wonderful the next morning. My deepest condolences for your loss.

I first met Mr. Foster (Charlie) in June of 1962 as a first year Apprentice in the Shipfitter Shop (X-11) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Mr. Foster was my Supervisor. He became a mentor im my life at a critical time. He was an amazing person with the highest integrity! His professionalism and kindness was always noteworthy. He enabled others to achieve their best efforts and was always there to celebrate the success and accomplishments of others. I am so grateful to have known him and will always remember him as a friend and a "Great Person"!!! May God bless him, his family and his many, many friends. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
