Charles Belfi Obituary

Charles F. Belfi CHESAPEAKE - Charles Francis Belfi, 61, of the 1200 block of Ohio St., passed away Sept. 23, 2010. A native of Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late Alexander J. and Frances Kalb Belfi. He is survived by his wife, H. Ellen Belfi; his children, Michael, Janice and Jeffrey Belfi; and stepchildren, Matthew and Aaron Woodward; and a brother, Robert Belfi. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Messiah, 816 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Messiah. Graham Funeral Home will be caring for the family. Dear Ellen, Charley will forever be a loving, inspirational, spiritual memory to me and Pat and to all of us in the Order of St. Luke who knew him. He was an exceptional person, a friend, and a servant of the Lord, and will be greatly missed. Our love and condolences to you and your family.
