Charles Ragsdale Obituary

Charles W. Ragsdale HERTFORD - Charles Walter Ragsdale, 88, of Springfield, S.C., formerly of Hertford, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, in South Carolina. Born in Anderson County, South Carolina, he was the husband of the late Molly Allen Ragsdale and the son of the late Charles E. and Elsie Byers Ragsdale. He was a maintenance supervisor with Cargill Grain Company and a member of Chapel On The Sound. Survivors include his sister, Frances Prather of Newberry, S.C., and several nieces and nephews. There are no services being planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bethlehem Church of Christ, P.O. Box 598, Hertford, NC 27944. Online condolences may be sent to the family through www.swindellfuneralhome. com. Swindell Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the Ragsdale family.

I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Uncle Charles and Aunt Molly were to two sweetest people. I loved seeing them and spending summers with them. He will definitely be missed and memories will be cherished forever.
