Cynthia LasMarias Obituary

Cynthia B. LasMarias VIRGINIA BEACH - Cynthia Beltran LasMarias, 68, passed away peacefully April 14, 2010. Her strength and unrelentless spirit was witnessed by family and close friends. She was born on Jan. 29, 1942 in San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines to Eliza and Ruperto Beltran. Ruperto, who never met his daughter, because of circumstances of war, will now welcome his long awaited reunion with his only child. Survivors include Alfredo Laza LasMarias; her two sons, Danilo and Derrick; her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth and recently announced daughter-in-law, Chidori; and her three grandchildren, Noah 9, Nalani 4, and Gabriela 2. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, with a Christian wake to begin at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Church of the Holy Family on Great Neck Road at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Interment will follow in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.hdoliver.com.
