1972 - 2015 (Age 42)
Family, friends, and fans are mourning the death of Darren Shahlavi, an actor who played Kano on the television show "Mortal Kombat: Legacy.” The Hollywood Reporter and other media sources inform us that Shahlavi died at the age of 42, apparently passing away in his sleep. Shahlavi was known for his formidable martial arts skill, every bit of which was earned: he took an early interest in the combat style, starting his training at age 7. Following those early years spent honing his skills, he moved from his native England to Hong Kong, where he launched his film career by playing stunt doubles and villains throughout the early 90s. He later relocated to the U.S., where he found his place among the stars of American cinema.
Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy is with the family during your time of sorrow. May the love and the warm memories you shared with Darren show how your life was touched by him. God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during difficult times. Psalms 91:2. May you find the needed strength from God, family and friends.
