I was very sorry to hear of Delore's passing. Delores and I worked together and we also had many misadventures while riding horses together. Delores will sorely be missed.

Well Delores, I'm thinking of you tonight, New Years Eve. What memories do I have: visiting you at your farm where your pet pig and your goat and lamb were as welcome in your living room as your friends; the time you asked me to be present for the surgery of one of your horses...just for a little comfort and prayers; the day you received the news that the big C had come to challenge your quality of life. You asked some of your colleagues to shave your head but they just couldn't do it, so I did it; do you remember the container we sent to the hospital filled with popcorn? It was shaped like a stable...horses and all. Well, we spent a lot of nights on the Unit with me giving you therapeutic massage and you got well. The last time I saw you was at Golden Corral. I guess that was appropriate. Well, ride on dear soul...ride on. Heaven's Gate Ranch is waiting. Its gate is open and waiting for you.
