God Bless her on her new journey and may she live in our hearts and minds forever. She always seemed to have a knack for making the best Lemon Pound Cake. :) I remember one time when I was about the age of five, I was at Grammy Doris' house and there was her pound cake sitting on the counter. It was already cut and ready to eat. So naturally, I sneaked over to the counter and took a piece, then she caught me. I tried to look as though I didn't have the crumbs on my face, but she laughed and gave another piece. Saying that it wasn't my fault the pound cake was so good. :) With love, Rachelle Pucillo, your first born great-granddaughter.

Doris has been one of "my girls" since the 50's and I wondered why I had not heard back from her or you, Vernon, for the past couple of years and now I know that she must not have been well. I always loved her and I will always cherish her memory. May God give you peace in your grief and know that there are many crying and grieving with you. To a beautiful and wonderful woman, she was. Loving, and she will truely be missed. I can still remember the weekends I spent with Becky at the house. We had such fun. Aunt Doris always made you feel "special", and very loved.
