Douglas B. Giesen VIRGINIA BEACH - We are faithfully returning Doug to our Heavenly Father and thank Him for the time we had with Doug on this earth. His life was difficult, but he tried very hard to live a life of happiness but always found obstacles he had to overcome with his illness. He leaves his family and friends with a sense of peace that eventually came into his life ever after. His very beloved children, Brent and Erica, were much loved by him. David, his brother, and Jen, his sister, will cherish the good times they had together. We as his parents find peace that surpasses all understanding and believe Doug's peace has finally arrived.
