Edith Blohm Obituary

Edith Blohm VIRGINIA BEACH - Edith Blohm, 79, passed away on Oct. 8, 2010. Edie was born in New York City on Nov. 26, 1930. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Herbert and adored grandson, Steven Korn. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Linda and her husband Richard Korn; two sons, Alan and his wife Gilda and Robert and his wife Denise. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Ed (Jennifer), Lisa (Rick), Nicole (Rob), Corey, Ryan (Tiffany), Travis and Tara; five great-grandchildren, Sophia, Emalee, Ryan, Andrew and Kaylee; brother, William Hellerling and niece, Gale Hellerling of Colorado. Services will be held in New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Regional Hospice, 667 Kingsborough Square, Suite 201, Chesapeake, VA 23320. The family would to thank the hospice nurses involved with Edie's care, especially Linda; they were angels in Edith's time of need and brought great comfort to her family during a most difficult period.
