Thank you, Dad, for always standing behind us, loving us and giving us your best.

And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;"

I, too, wish to join all of my classmates and friends who have contributed such wonderful memories of a man who meant so much to us at such an important time in our lives. Both my brother Stephen ('80) and I learned much from this great man.

I was a classmate of Claire's and one of the many NJROTC student's CDR Stronski influenced and guided. His counsel during my senior year as part of the senior staff of the unit were foundational to my military and post-military career. My prayer's and condolences to the family.

To the Stronski family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences. CDR Stronski was simply a courageous Naval officer, dedicated family man and devout Catholic. He really made a difference in the lives of NJROTC students he instructed at KHS. He also worked a lot with my parents serving St. Joseph's Parish community through the years. Jim, all the best to you...it's been a long time!

My sincere condolences to Ned's family. I did docent/volunteer work with Ned for many years at The Mariners' Museum on Wednesday and we had a lot of fun swapping sea stories. He was a positive upbeat colleague and I miss him.

My prayers are with your family. Cmdr. Stronski was commander to both of my brothers, George and Mark while in ROTC at Kecoughtan. My brother, George Kiemer, helped with the crazy stuff with Lawrence Peters and the GO NAVY stickers on Ft. Monroe!! When George passed away four years after graduation, Mr. Stronski and family had St. Josephs hold a special mass for him. That was a wonderful gesture that my family will always treasure. He will be missed. Condolences to your family at this time and may your memories bring you comfort. Linda Kiemer Shackelford

Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.
My late father, QMCS(SS) Arthur W. Spriggs, USN (Ret), was the Asst. Naval Science instructor under CDR Stronski's command at KHS. I can recall that "The Chief" always spoke very highly of his leadership, dedication, and support. I know that his positive influence on the lives of countless young adults will be long remembered and honored.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Stronski family at the passing of the Commander. I am one of many students that benefitted from his mentoring while part of the KHS NJROTC unit, 1975-1978. Even now as a US Navy retiree, I reflectly fondly on those times, recognizing we are all better for having known CDR Stronski--Thank you for caring about all of us. Both Theresa and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. MMCM(SS/SW)(USN, Ret)

I pretty much owe my military career to him and the Chief. They touched a lot of lives in that unit mine was one of them. The Cdr had a lot faith in me, maybe more than I did myself at that time. I will always be grateful for the opportunities he gave me. He also put up w/ the crazy stuff we did. Like putting GO NAVY signs at Ft Monroe before the Army-NAVY game. Or the cardboard cut out of a Naval Officer on the TRADOC Cdr's front door. LT USCG (retired)

Commander Stronski was my NJROTC instructor @ KHS. What a fine officer and quiet leader. He was a great example for many to follow and provided firm guidance to us "teenagers". Thank you Sir! My prayers for your family during this difficult period. God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
