Edna Judge Obituary

Edna L. Judge VIRGINIA BEACH - Edna Louise Judge, 85, passed away April 19, 2010 in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Mrs. Judge was born in Sophia, N.C., and was the daughter of the later Charles Blake Pierce and Bessie May York. She was the widow of Larry Judge. She was a member of the "Merry Widows of West Neck." She was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Phillips and her husband David of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren, David Phillips, Todd Phillips and his wife Aimee, Timothy Phillips, William Phillips and his wife Julie and Heather Phillips. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Gavin Lawrence Phillips, Laurel and William Phillips Jr. The family will receive friends at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel ,Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. A chapel service will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 22. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
