Elizabeth Costenbader Obituary

Elizabeth Costenbader VIRGINIA BEACH - Elizabeth Iglesias Costenbader, 51, died quietly surrounded by her family Thursday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2011, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Kelleher Blanchard and grandparents. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, David; her father, Edwin Iglesias; her sisters, Eileen Iglesias, Margaret Iglesias-Dougherty, Claire Iglesias-Loxtercamp; and brother, John Iglesias. Condolences are extended to the Costenbader, Iglesias, Hogan and Lawson families over the tragic loss of a kind, gentle soul. Elizabeth loved her family, her dogs and volunteering. A memorial service will be held at Eastern Shore Chapel, 2020 Laskin Road, at noon today, Jan. 8. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Queen Anne's County (www.hospiceofqueenannes. com/fundraising2.html) and Hope for Life Animal Rescue (www.hopeforliferescue.com) are gratefully encouraged. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, are handling arrangements.
