Elizabeth Deucher Obituary

Elizabeth Deucher SUFFOLK - Elizabeth "Nonnie" Deucher, 84, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, in her residence. Our sincere respects to the family. We remember when Betty and Don took in a CF afflicted ilnfant and made him a member of the family. A most gracious and loving act---they also became actilvists in the CF foundation where we too served and came to know and treasure them. Many years have passed but one never ceases to
give respect and love to such very fine people. Our CF son has been gone 23 years and we treasure all our memories including those of your parents.. Hank and Mal Bernbaum

Mrs. Deucher was my favorite teacher! I had her in 6th grade at Ridge-Brook elementary and she inspired me to challenge and believe in myself. I was sad to hear of her passing. She was a very special person.

My sincere sympathy for your loss. I
will always remember the times shared
with Elizabeth, hearing of her great
career and life following her alum
days at West Tech. She touched many of us with the stories and memories.
We will miss her at the West Tech Alumni meetings and gatherings.

Sharon and family, we are so sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed hearing Melissa's recap of their days events and "suchly" - which was one of my favorite things to hear! Her life will be celebrated in your heart always. Elizabeth and Joel
