Eloise Bryant Obituary

Eloise Bryant PORTSMOUTH - Eloise "Dee" Bryant, 65, departed this life Monday, Dec. 7, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Marcellus "Ray" Bryant; her children, Augustine "Linda" Pugh, James "Jimmy" Pugh (Hazel), Barry E. Pugh, Vincent E. Pugh; stepdaughter, Pamela Harris; six grandchildren, Antonio, Mia, Latisha, Barry Jr., Baron and Phylena; five great-grandchildren, Quadarius, Tamia, Kautious, Tremaine, Mason; two sisters, Helen Copeland, Evelyn Saunders; six brothers, Larry Waters, James Waters (Kim), Dennis Waters (Mary), Timothy "Mike" Waters, Gregory Waters and Ollie Waters. "Dee" was predeceased by her parents, James Larry and Sarah Ruth Waters; brother, Otis Saunders; and grandson, Tremaine V. Pugh. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in Corprew Funeral Services Chapel, Portsmouth. The family will assemble at the residence at 1 p.m. for the procession.

I miss you so much Mom. It has been difficult having to bring in the New Year without you. We would always call each other at the same time, often getting a busy signal on the other end several times until one of us dialed a little faster than the other. That's just how connected we were. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to your family. Noone can take away you pain of grief, but take comfort in the times you shared and te memoies you hold dear. Hold fast to your faith and know that with time the tears will lessen and smiles of fond memories will be in their place.
