Virginia Beach - 86, went to her eternal home peacefully on March 25, 2014 in Virginia Beach. She was born on May 3,1927 in the West Indies on the beautiful island of Barbados to Alan and Mildred Pilgrim. "Dearest", as she was affectionately called was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lisle Trotman, two brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish her memories are her only child Tyrone and his wife Patricia, four grandchildren;Tyrone Jr and his wife Sonja, Jermaine, Jason and Monique, three sisters; Yvonne, Glen, Violet and brother Randolph, five nieces; Emelyn, Linda, Eleanor, Lorna, and Barbara, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was a devout member of Cedars Of Lebanon Seventh Day Adventist Church in Chesapeake where she served as a deaconess. Ermine was loved by many and will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 6 at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, VA from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7 at Cedars Of Lebanon SDA Church located at 1977 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA.
