Goodbye Uncle Gene. My heart was breaking for you and all those close to you these past few months. Here's hoping your soul has soared to greater heights as you look down on us with your signature grin, thinking to yourself... this new realm isn't so bad after all. And, may today's tears of those of us you left behind soon be replaced with warm smiles of past memories. Although I may be 3,000 miles from Virginia, my heart is with each of you now and in the days ahead. I only wish I could be there on Wednesday to give everyone a big hug as you say your last goodbye. All my love, Mary
