Evelyn Bakun

Evelyn P. Bakun VIRGINIA BEACH - Evelyn P. Bakun, 86, of Roswell, Ga., formerly of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, William D. Bakun and is survived by her daughter, Denice B. Cribb of Georgetown, Texas; her son, William D. Bakun Jr., his wife Betty, of Woodstock, Ga.; her grandson, William D. Bakun III, his wife Yoko, and their children, Anna and Andy of Beaverton, Ore.; her granddaughter, Leslie Harrison, her husband, Ryan and their children, Morgan and Tyler of Woodstock, Ga.; and her granddaughter, Katie Gohman and her husband Ben of New York City. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 5, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Ga. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Vitas Hospice in recognition of the extraordinary care they provided.
