Frankie Fain Obituary

Frankie J. Fain Sr. CHESAPEAKE - Frankie Junior Fain Sr., 85, devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011. He was a native of War, W.Va., and a retired police and fire dispatcher for the City of Portsmouth. Mr. Fain is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Fain; children, Frankie J. Fain Jr., Jackie Durhan and Joy Stevens; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Dovie Ann Frigo and brother, Bob Fain. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. and they suggest memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
