Grace Weaver Obituary

Grace E. Weaver CHESAPEAKE - Grace E. Weaver, 92, of Stewart Street, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2010, at her home. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late William and May Davis and was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John William Weaver Jr.; a son, John Wharton "Jack" Weaver II; three sisters, Eunice, Evelyn and Katherine; and two brothers, Jimmy and Earl. Survivors include her son, William Randolph "Randy" Weaver and wife Anita; three grandchildren, Stephanie Austin, Stephanie Casey and Greg Lee; and six great- grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. There will be no viewing or visitation. The family will receive friends at Grace's home after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Francis Gay Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www. omanfh.com.

We are so sorry to hear that Mrs. Weaver has passed away. . She was very sweet and a wonderful customer of ours. We will miss her very much. We will remember her sweet smile and the flower garden out in front of her house. Please give our sympathy to all of the family. We will miss her.
