Harold McCachren Obituary

Harold E. McCachren VIRGINIA BEACH - Harold Eugene McCachren of the 300 block of Thalia Station Court passed away Dec. 9, 2009, in his home. A native of Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Theodore and Ethel McCachren. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a signalman first class after 22 years of service. He is survived by his four daughters, Sherry Finneman and husband Robert, Lisa Farquhar and friend Rodney Ouellette, Loretta Williams and Pamela McMahan; his son, Dean Hollister; four sisters, Charlotte Cramer and husband David, Julie Martin, Barbara Slater and husband Richard and Dora Rager and husband Larry; three brothers, Ford McCachren, John McCachren and wife Louella and Richard McCachren and wife Diane; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www. hollomon-brown.com.
